Sugar Skull 12. I created this one a really long time ago, hence why it's skull 12 in my production line, but I really didn't like the way I had hollowed out the eyes and how it made the shape of the skull look and it just sat there for a long time till I could figure out just what design I wanted to paint on it.

So, recently I got this idea for a design, but I was leery to try it out on any of the skulls that I really loved, cause I didn't know just how it would work out, and this is the result. Got the design idea from a mexican ceramic monkey that we own, coupled with the designs I'd seen on some old indian art featuring the hundu swastika as featured here: [link]

I decided not to draw the actual swastika at all, because of the negative connotations that attached to it regardless of it's real meaning, but I love how the red dots in that design looked and went that way with it.

And this skull is a tad larger than my usual ones. She's 10 dollars if you're interested. Note me.

Glad you like the colours. I do to, but this is one of the old early sculpts I was telling you about that I really didn't like the look of. There's something.... grannyish about the skull or something... The Green Lantern skull suffers from the same poor looks, but at least the little boy I sold it to thought it was cool. ;)

I don't play games these days, but there were times early in my marriage when I did dabble... but basically it's just old Mario stuff or the Oddworld games that I played. Sometimes that Worms game too. That was really it for me and gaming.
