Rosemary and Hal, from the movie Shallow Hal. Rosemary is played by Gweneth Paltrow and Hal is played by Jack Black.

I'm really impressed with this one. It came out perfect on the first shot. That never happens.

And I just got some new prismacolour markers so I had fun with the colours.

I really loved drawing Rosemary. She and Hal are both adorable, and I was so eager to capture their likenesses.

As usual, the medium is inking in microns, and colouring in prismacolours. Didn't take but maybe 3 hours or so of work, but I was having far too much fun to pay attention.

Hey! Thanks for the fav on this! :) :)

I have this love/hate thing with Shallow Hal. The movie IS really great, but the more I watch it I see how it suffers from what it's trying to fight against, you know?

Great premise, not so great application in some parts (like, for example, all the parts where Rosemary is breaking chairs because of her size. Seems like a big 'fat' joke to me).

Loved drawing this! Still love the heck out of Jack Black too. :)

omg i completely agree with you man!!! i have watched Shallow Hal more times then i can count and it is a good and fun movie but i do hate how they potray the fat.i happen to freakin LOVE BBW i think they are sexy as hell and i didn't like how Shallow Hal made them look.yes the premise was good,but poor execution on alot of parts i agree.i have talked to others about that and they agree it.yeah they had Rosemary like she was just fat and didn't know any better or somthing.the real Rosemary was freakin hot to me and i am still waiting on my very own Rosemary.but for the most part Shallow Hal is my movie man,we have a special bond.lol but yeah Shallow Ha is a good movie but no without it's problems for sure man.btw love your hercule avatar,DBZ rocks man.lol been a fan for like 10 years so far...

Yea, I used to be so hardcore for DBZ! :) I'm not much into any anime at the moment, but DBZ always has a place in my heart.

XD mine too man! DBZ was like the very first anime i watched and got into.DBZ owns man,even though i have seen the complete series time and time again i still very much love it.it does hold a special place in my heart too.there is nothing like DBZ,it has it's own uniqueness,there are only copy-cats.XD i do love anime though,im a hardcore anime fan. :D

i think all the characters he finds ugly are very pretty, i also sympethized with Rosemary because she's treated like me, people only see the disability side and abnormal part of the personality

Lately, I feel entirely invisible when out alone (which is rare occassions) but when I'm with my daughter (2 years old) suddenly I'm approachable and talked to. These kind of dynamics are really interesting to me.
